About the Recipe
This is a perfect replacement for oat porridge which can be too drying for Vata and Pitta

Ingredients
½ cup of white basmati rice
½ cup of coconut milk
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp of jaggery (raw cane sugar) (optional)
Raw honey to taste
Raisins, almonds, apricots (to taste)
Preparation
Cook the rice with the cinnamon and water until it well cooked and very soft.
Add the coconut milk and stir on low heat continuously until the milk boils.Â
As per your taste you can add a jaggery (or raw cane sugar), dried fruits and flaked nuts to make this a well rounded nutritious breakfast that will help to pacify vata/pitta imbalances.
